This fellowship is founded upon our common love for our Savior, Jesus Christ. We feel that anyone who is willing to turn from their sin, and commit himself to following Jesus, can know forgiveness and the joy of an eternal relationship with God through His Son. If you do not know Jesus in this personal way, our prayer is that you would open your mind, heart, and soul to him.

We are a self-governing Southern Baptist Church, and we actively support the national, state, and local conventions and associations of that fellowship of believers. We ascribe to the statement of our beliefs as approved by the national convention in their publication, The Baptist Faith and Message. That text in full can be found at a variety of places on the web, including the website of the national convention.

In short, we hold to the historic, orthodox tenets that have helped make the Christian Church and Baptists unique. We hold to an exclusive gospel. That is, we believe that there is only one God, who has revealed Himself to man in three personages, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as recorded in the Holy Bible. We proclaim that there is no other means of eternal salvation and entrance into Heaven except through the sacrifice of His own life that Christ offered to the Father on the cross of Calvary. We receive forgiveness, salvation, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in this world, and eternal life in the next when we accept the gracious gift of God by receiving Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior through placing our full faith and trust in Him. We accept the traditional position that we are able to come to God as His children by faith alone through Christ alone received by grace alone. Everything in our life should then reflect our status as God’s children; that is we should live every moment to the glory of God alone. And, we accept as the only binding, sufficient, and efficient standard of faith the Holy Bible, which we hold to be inerrant, infallible, and the only God-given Scripture. We hold that our resource for all questions, earthly and eternal, is the Bible alone.
