There are wonderful things to look forward to in the month of December. So, before you over-commit yourself to parties and shopping, please mark your calendar for these upcoming events:
Sunday, December 6th – One of the blessings of the Christmas season is the opportunity to fellowship with our church family and what better way to celebrate this season than by caroling! At 5:30pm we will gather in the Sanctuary for a time of worship and then we will travel the short distance to our neighbors in Tarabrooke to share the music of Christmas. Please join us for this joyous time of outreach.
Our AWANA clubbers will also have a great time of celebration when they head to the Fellowship Hall for a “Happy Birthday Jesus” Party. Be sure to have your clubbers present for this last meeting of AWANA for the year. AWANA will resume on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 5:00pm.
Sunday, December 13th – Nothing says Christmas better than a children’s production. This year our Children’s Choir will present “The Best Christmas Present Ever!” There is no doubt that this will be an energetic offering with plenty of humor and a great evangelistic message! This will delight children of all ages!
Sunday, December 20th - Our Adult Choir will present “Gloria! A Christmas Experience.” The music promises to be powerful and worshipful and help us all focus on the true meaning of Christmas.
Thursday, December 24th – In preparation for Christmas day, please join us for our Christmas Eve service. What better way to usher in Christmas than with worship, Christmas music and fellowship with our church family! Please invite your friends and neighbors to join with us to celebrate the coming King!
